As 2016 is coming to an end, we probably have all set a few new year's resolutions. The most common one by far is eating more healthy and work out more.
Since most of us (well, especially us) like easy meals that have everything nice in them, we started thinking of ways that will help us stick to our new year's resolutions. And honestly, we think we came up with a perfect example.
Because let's be real here, do you know anyone who doesn’t like wraps? It is easy to make, easy to take with you, and you can put any type of ingredient you like in there.
Vegan hummus wrap
For 1 wrap
1 tortilla wrap
Hummus
Tomato
Avocado
Baby spinach
Salt and pepper to season
How to prepare:
1.Spread the hummus on the tortilla wrap.
2.Layer the sliced avocado and tomato on top of the hummus.
3.Top this up with baby spinach.
4.Season with salt and pepper, and/or add other vegetables you like!
5.Wrap the tortilla into a burrito shape.
Spicy vegan wraps
For 1 wrap
1 onion
2 el of sunflower oil
150g of crispy corn
350 g of grilled Tivall chicken
8 tortilla wraps
4 tomatoes
½ iceberg lettuce
300g hot salsa
How to prepare:
1.Shred the unions, heat up the sunflower oil, and stir-fry the unions for about 2 minutes.
2.Add the grilled Tivall chicken and the corn and stir-fry for another 4 minutes.
3.Slice the tomatoes and iceberg lettuce in smaller pieces.
4.Add 1 el of salsa on every tortilla wrap.
5.Add all of your ingredients onto the wrap, and wrap it into a burrito shape. The remaining of the salsa sauce can be served as a dip for the wraps.
Enjoy your meal!
